Welcome to HelpTina.com
Tina's Story October 21st, Tina was out jogging, training for a half-marathon to raise money for her baby niece that has cancer. While training that day, she was running a path around a lake. It was a wooded path. As Tina was jogging a tree fell at just the right time to hit her in the head. Needless to say, everything changed with her and her family right then. She has a closed head injury. Her speech is slurred, sometimes she can’t speak at all, her memory has been very impacted, and she is very dizzy when she walks. For those of us that know Tina, we know she is one of the most giving people you will ever meet. For those of you that don’t know her quite as well, she is very giving of her time, money, and love. She was a 40 year old that isn’t a runner that was training for this marathon to raise money for kids with cancer. She has hosted a dance to raise money for a local food shelter. She’s been a Girl Scout leader. She has cooked and served the homeless and spent hours at retirement centers. She is always giving to St. Jude’s, buying presents for children in need, or helping someone in need. She has volunteered to lead an outreach group at Twin Oaks, her church home. Tina is still unable to work. She is expected to be off work for another 3 to 6 months. Her husband was home with her for the first four months. Their income has dropped and their expenses are going up with them having to pay for health insurance themselves. Would you be willing to help this amazingly giving family with a small donation? Just a few dollars from caring people will help them get through this long and winding, emotionally tough time. Thank you for your help and God Bless You!
